Save the Girl is an organization supported by Care India to send young girls to school so they can have a good education. To be born a girl in India is seen as a curse and many young girls must do hard labor everyday to make a living. Some families even refuse to take care of a girl and let her die because they cannot provide for her. Some girls are sold into slavery. Save the Girl helps to stop this by providing the chance for families to send their girls to school and get an education to help support themselves. The money donated goes to pay for books, uniforms, school lunches, and any other supplies they need. For more info check out the video link!
